Missed 2 or 3 days of workouts…what to do?

Have you ever had one of those weeks where you missed 2-3 days of workouts? I recently had one of those, and realized the best thing to do in those situations is combine more muscle groups together. Yes that means a slightly longer workout but you won’t be set back.

3 Best Leg exercises are….

1. The Squat —because it works almost every muscle in the body, the quads, hamstrings, calves, core, shoulders and back

2. Dead-lift—again another compound movement that works lower back, hamstrings, calves, and core

3. Lunges—-its close between these and leg press but lunges are performed on an unstable platform causing your body to balance itself, working the quads, hamstrings, and core.

Intensity is Everything!

Intensity is everything. The word intensity is defined of extreme force, degree or strength. It’s just how hard you go on what you’re focused on, what you’re working on. If it’s your job, business, workout, being a parent, teacher, mentor or sibling to someone. How much are you giving. In your workouts, you should be giving all that you have for those 30 minutes to an hour. Less break time as possible, pushing as much weight with proper form and getting as much done as you can to achieve success.

Over the last year I’ve been reading Arnold Schwarzenegger’s book “The Encyclopedia of modern Bodybuilding” and one of the big things he preaches about is using an “arm blaster” which essential is a piece of material as you see in the photo below that acts a preacher curl.
